Going Home

You can go to another blog site, to see new and exciting news about iraq. This ain't it. I didn't do jack, Was bored for my entire deployment. This isn't OIF 1 or 2. That sums up my deployment. Watch Jarhead, take out the action, implement the boredom, and add some luxurys.
Yeah there was bombs that hit nearby, every here and there. I don't lose sleep over it. I just,kinda ingore it, kinda like people notice emergency vehicle sirens, "Oh that sucks, better move out the way." I'm not complaining about how rough life was out here. I'm sure the Gulf War veterans would scoff at the stuff I had out here. Hot showers, hot chow, access to internet and phones.
Even a post exchange. Yeah, I ate MREs, saw the fabled camel spiders. Encountered the heat and the sandstorms. But all in all it sucks out here. And don't plan on making myself look some hero, or sound more exciting than it was, I don't want to talk about this when I get back. Boring deployment, waste of 7 months of life I'm never getting back. Least I got combat zone pay, not like I shot anybody anyways, the theme out here is 'combat garrison'. Don't get me wrong there is other places and people out here that 'get some'. Just not me.

I'll be getting a new vehicle when I get back. Oh which should be hmm september.


I'll post pictures and maybe even some video when I get back into the states with a faster internet connection. Until then, stay cool.
